More than 400 people made reservations for the 2012 Party on the Peak on Oct. 6, and attendees raised record-setting and much needed funds for  historic preservation projects in Hood County.

National Chuck Wagon Cook Homer Robertson, along with other expert wagon cooks, set up their wagons and cooked authentic Texas grub for an appreciative crowd. Then attendees danced under the big Texas sky to the authentic Texas dancehall music of Tommy Hooker.

The gracious generosity of Ken Hill, his family, and Comanche Peak Ranch, LLC, make it possible to feature Comanche Peak as the magical place to raise funds for preservation each fall. Special heartfelt thanks to Beverely Hill for making it all possible for four wonderful years.
