Preserve Granbury’s 10th Annual Party on the Peak
What and Where: A historic celebration and get together in privately owned Comanche Peak, a 1,229-foot historic mesa in Hood County. The evening includes self-guided tours, panoramic views of North Texas, cocktails, dinner, and dancing under the Texas stars. During the 2017 party, over 400 guests enjoyed the big Texas sky. soaked in sweeping views, savored cowboy cooking, bid during life and silent auctions, and danced the night away while raising more funds for historic preservation priojects in Hood County and for the Granbury Arts Alliance.
When: Saturday, October 6, 2018 beginning at 5 p.m.
Who: Party on the Peak benefits Preserve Granbury, a 501(c)(3) organization. Preserve Granbury’s mission is to preserve and promote the historic integrity of our community. New in 2017, Preserve Granbury partnered with the Granbury Arts Alliance, also a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to encouraging and promoting a network of local, individual member artists and arts organizations representing the broad spectrum of artistic activity. The Granbury Arts Alliance coordinated much of the auction at the event, and the proceeds raised were shared between the two organizations.
