Reception for Granbury – A Candlelight Tour @ Preserve Granbury House
Dec 2 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

As part of the Granbury Candlelight Tour of Homes, Preserve Granbury invites you to the public opening  of our restored house and a pop-up art exhibit featuring five artists.  The house will be open Friday, December 2nd, 5 pm till 9 pm and Saturday, December 3rd, noon till 9 pm.  You are invited to a reception Friday from 6-8pm honoring the artists.   You do NOT need to be part of the Candlelight Tour to attend.   Our artists are:

Elise Techentine, Assemblage:
“I am amused and inspired by the potential metamorphosis of a simple thought or phrase into an object of art. For over 20 years, I have honed my hands-on skills and mindful hoarding to relay the story of my heart and mind as guided by the make-believe audience in my studio space! I happily channel  sensitivity, insight, and ingenuity to give new purpose to discarded and time-worn relics.”

Cindy Ross, fused glass
Loose Marble Studio is a husband and wife artistic business working with many types of glass. David and Cindy Ross use torches, kilns, sand blasters, belt sanders, and many other assorted tools creating objects of art that delight the eye and enchant the mind.

Valeri Cranston,  Painter
A professional artist, Valeri began painting with oils then moved to acrylics and found her love of watercolor while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in college. Recently after wanting to take a break from the tight precision of her watercolors, she decided to branch out into the world of Alcohol Inks and Abstract Expressionism.  Her work may be found at Uptown Arts.

Susie Monzingo, mixed media
I work in oil on canvas and mixed media ( using more than one type of medium in my art). All work is original and created by myself. I like to create smaller canvases with emphasis on inspiration and nature. Perfect size and price for gift giving.

Cissy Wilson, Photographer
Cissy’s eye for photography captures nature and the world in an incredible way.  Her photographs are on-line at National Geographic’s your shot as well as a number of other sites.
